Monroe Michigan’s Sterling State Park is the place for the regions first All Men’s Triathlon!  To throw a little motivation into the mix for all you guys we will have an All Female Sprint and Olympic Relay team.  Special prizes to anyone who can beat the teams or beat their splits.  This is it fellas, race head to head, face to face with your training partners for bragging rights and the opportunity to take home some cool prizes IF you have what it takes to beat the ladies!  While in Monroe check out historic downtown.  Your swim will take place in Lake Erie paralelling the half mile long beach.  A flat fast bike course will take you through rural Monroe followed by one of the coolest run courses anywhere.  It’s an 8 foot wide paved path around 3 lagoons teaming with nature.  Finishing up with a cool party for the guys with that all important "guy food".

This is a state park, all vehicles must have a Recreational Passport to enter the park. Michigan residents can purchase a passport at the Secretary of State when renewing vehicle tags or at the park office, the pass is good for an entire a year.  All non-residents can purchase a one day pass for $8.40 or an annual pass $33.40 at the park office. There is very limited parking that is a reason for the cap so please plan to arrive early.

A custom event shirt, custom finishers medal, custom latex swim cap, sponsor supplied samples, professional chip timing with results available online, awards to top three in each age group, a great sponsor supplied raffle and awards ceremony following the last finisher.  Also the best post race snack table out there.

Your age on race day is the same as how old you will be on December 31st of that year.

Top 3 Men Overall in each event, excluded from their agegroup
Top 3 Men within each of the following agegroups
19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Top 3 Clydesdales in Olympic and Sprint Triathlons 39 and under and 40+ categories (Clydesdale =  Male 200lbs or more)
Masters are awarded to the 1st place Male who is 40+ within the Olympic/Long Course Triathlons and excluded from agegroup

Aquabike will only have awards if there are over 12 athletes preregistered 14 days prior to the event in each distance.

Awards will in NO circumstances be given out early, or individually before the awards ceremony.  If you must depart for the awards ceremony you may opt to pay a shipping and processing fee and have the award mailed to you.  Please see the link above and under the forms page. You MUST send the form within 2 weeks following the event with a check or money order, one fee per award in order to receive your award.  Please understand we have NO control over the US postal service.
