May features a full schedule with a few more duathlons and one of the most important events you could do and must be put on your calendar. Kenny developed the Starkermann Epic Challenge to do one thing, break the system down so when you recover you will be stronger in every aspect. You can do individual events or Starkermann Jr. if you are not ready for the Sr. Challenge. The Gateway event takes us down to the largest lake in Illinois for a beautiful event kicking off the triathlon season. Time to rock and roll now.

June features one great event after another with our charity event we host for Racing for Recovery, the half iron and sprint distance race in Monroe. Then what has become the premiere race in the state with 2010 seeing 800 athletes from 28 states and 3 countries racing on the closed course on Belle Isle, downtown Detroit, Mi. The Big Fish event the following weekend has sold out the last 6 years at 500. Then the end of the month is that awesome venue at Metro Beach featuring a time trial swim start and only $50 entry fee. What?....... I better go check that! LOL....... see ya there.

July features our events starting in Northern Lower Michigan. Inter-Rockin features a rich environment close to Traverse City, with the Cherry Festival coming to a close, the is an amazing time to race. Our Mackinaw Multi-mix is a stunning course viewing the Mackinaw Bridge and surrounding area. Check out all of our July events below.

August features events all over the state of Michigan from the east side to the west side and everywhere in between. This is the time to strategically plan this month so you are ready to rock and roll at our festival of races next month. So maybe Clarkston for sprint race then up to beautiful Petoskey with the family, then down to Ludington for some time on the beach. The last weekend is Annmarie's event, Girls Best Friend at which she is in charge and it is one specifically for all you females, ladies only on that one. Finally TRI, what use to be Autumn Colors, is now TRI, why? because it is a simple event with a 1980's entry fee of $50, no awards, no raffle, a simple post race fruit table at a closed course in Holly Mi.

September is that month in Michigan when most multi-sport athletes start hanging the bikes up but not before some pretty incredible events. Barefoot in traverse city, followed by the states best Half Iron distance event, with the best finish line, the best post race party beach side, live music, the biggest raffle, and best post race catered food in the state. Who knows maybe anywhere? Then we bring the triathlon season to a close with the Michigan Triathlon & Duathlon Championship. The sprint series championship finishes the season down in South Bend, In at Tri the Creek.

This is it folks, October starts off with another 1863 event down in Illinois with the Last Try, about an hour from St. Louis, 3 hrs. from Chicago, 90 minutes from Louisville, Ky. and 2 hrs. from Bloomington, In. A truly awesome venue hosting a half iron distance, Olympic and Sprint and Duathlon. The very popular MSU pool swim sprint triathlon back in Michigan and finishing up the season with the Great Pumpkin Duathlon. Now some of you can put the bikes on the trainers. Our final event will be the Racing for Recovery Halloween Run.
